Make travel dailies: start a new tape each morning and capture 1–3 second moments throughout the day. Breakfast, the train ride, a funny comment, a quick view from the trail. Those little clips accumulate into a movie in the order you record them.

That evening, export the tape to Photos and gather everyone for a screening of the day’s footage. A family trip becomes a collection of daily movies, ready to watch together while the memories are still fresh.

A tape for anything. Name tapes for trips, weekends, projects, or everyday life. Switch tapes and come back to them later.
A familiar camera. Front and rear cameras, tap to focus, exposure adjustment, HD and 4K recording, and supported 24, 30, and 60 fps options.
Smooth power zoom. Hold the volume buttons to zoom like a camcorder, or use the on-screen zoom controls.
A little home-movie character. Choose 9:16 or classic 4:3 framing and add an optional timestamp.
Edit when you want to. Preview, trim, rearrange, or remove individual clips. Import videos from Photos into a tape.
One video to share. Export the finished tape as a single movie through the share sheet, including Save Video to Photos.

Available recording formats and zoom stops depend on your iPhone and the selected camera.

Quick start

Allow camera and microphone access, then tap Record.
Tap again to stop. Your next recording joins the same tape.
Tap the tape name at the bottom to create, name, or choose a tape.
Preview a tape, then use Share to save or send the finished movie. Use the scissors button to edit its clips.

Your videos stay yours.

Tapes and edits are stored on your iPhone. There are no accounts, ads, or tracking. The Photos picker only imports videos you select; sharing sends a movie to the destination you choose.
